This was my fourth year attending FinCon, and I always meet interesting people there. This year was no different.
The different thing about this FinCon is that I was a speaker. Before getting to some of the bloggers and finance business owners I met, I thought I’d share a few pictures from my talk.

I talked about artificial intelligence with a Star Trek theme!

3. Waterlily

Waterlily makes long-term care planning easy. Using AI trained on over 500 million data points, Waterlily predicts an individual’s personalized likelihood of needing long-term care later in life, projects the exact cost of their long-term care, and even calculates the number of hours that each member of their family will step in to provide caregiving.
The software then guides families through building a holistic plan consisting of financial planning, care planning, and the logistics of family coordination. Today, Waterlily empowers financial advisors and insurance agents to devise personalized long-term care strategies for clients, with a direct-to-consumer offering launching in 2024.
Complementing this software, the Waterlily blog publishes new educational content three times per week written by certified financial planners that covers topics for caregivers, care recipients, and financial advisors on how to build comprehensive plans for finances, long-term care, retirement, insurance, government programs, care facilities, home health care, and estate planning.
